Catrice True Skin High Cover Concealer Launch Overview 2021 | Lillee Jean
Hey Jeaniez, and, welcome back!! Catrice recently launched their new TRUE SKIN collection, featuring a high-coverage, vegan product lineup. Today's mini launch overview is for the concealer portion, which retails for $7.00/1, and has over 15 shades!
The basics, as always that I include are to the point, and ABOUT the product claims. According to Catrice this product pairs well with those who have normal to dry skin types, and not only is made with hyaluronic acid, but is waterproof, and contains high coverage potency.
"Long-lasting, matt and natural finish
For normal to dry skin types
Moisturizing for up to 18 h
For me, I have redness around my nose due to rosacea, and sometimes a mild breakout! The lightweight texture is definitely a plus, and I do appreciate the wand size. Jumbo, but not quite too big, and not quite too small. Waterproof-wise, this is never my main concern, as dry skin is well...dry, however, the melted in skin look with that benefit I do appreciate.
Catrice did a great job with an affordable cruelty-free, paraben-free, and even OIL-FREE product. For me, my best shade matches include:
001 Neutral Swan (lighter than me)
002 Neutral Ivory (just about right)
005 Warm Macadamia (a shade deeper, but still blends out good)
032 Neutral Biscuit (soft contour)
046 Warm Toffee (adds a bronze)
060 Neutral Fudge (deeper contour, a tad warm, however)
AQUA (WATER), TALC, DIMETHICONE, DICAPRYLYL ETHER, CETYL PEG/PPG-10/1 DIMETHICONE, GLYCERIN, ISODODECANE, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, SODIUM HYALURONATE, TOCOPHEROL, HYDROGEN DIMETHICONE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, MAGNESIUM SULFATE, POLYSILICONE-11, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, STEVIA REBAUDIANA EXTRACT, PROPYLENE CARBONATE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, LAURETH-12, ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE, PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM DEHYDROACETATE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, BENZOIC ACID, DEHYDROACETIC ACID, SORBIC ACID, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).
Overview Final Thoughts
As someone who goes through concealer, and rotates her products monthly, I always get excited at a NEW concealer launch. I follow the French Girl beauty method, as well as the Kbeauty method, of just slightly covering, rather smearing on pounds of concealer. I quite appreciate the benefits, as well as the lightweight, YET affective final finished look. I will be featuring this in my videos to come, so stay tuned for a one on one review!
