According to Dermalogica:

[this is a] Highly-stable Vitamin C complex with advanced re-activation biotechnology [that] helps boost bioavailability for brighter skin and improved barrier defense. Antioxidant-rich formula with Squalane and five different types of Hyaluronic Acid delivers essential hydration to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Verbascum Thapsus Flower Extract provides an instant brightening effect. Phytic Acid and Pumpkin Enzymes with exfoliating properties support natural skin renewal.

First Thoughts

For me, I found it quite intriguing the use of pumpkin enzymes, as well as 5 different types of Hyaluronic Acid! Being someone with freckles, AND has dry skin, this was quite appealing, and I appreciated the transparency of all ingredients.

The first three ingredients include water, glycerine, followed by squalane. All three contribute to a hydration BOOST, with a consciousness vibe toward dehydrated skin types! Especially for those who seek hyperpigmentation help, sometimes vitamin c can be unstable, and dry the skin out; the cushion of such plumping formulations is assuring!

Feel & Results

Upon first opening, the bottle is lightweight, and in touch with the entire Biolumin-C collection aesthetic. The easy-to-pump-down applicator makes receiving a perfect portion of product, simple. As we know, too much can be a bad thing, just enough is proper. ESPECIALLY with Vitamin-C, you want to be conscious.

You get just enough to coat your face, neck, and hands!

The gel moisturizer itself, was bright in orange citrus scent, and serum/gel-like to apply. It made my skin feel TIGHT, not oily, nor irritated, just calm, and tacky.

The tacky feel I enjoy, because as someone who applies makeup methodically, it helps foundation, and skin products STICK and STAY a lot better! I found it works well with my oil-free foundation from Too Faced, and my tinted moisturizer from Milani, which contains oil. No bunching, just EASE of use.

While I cannot comment on long-term feels at this time, I find the initial presentation very pleasing, and on par with the rest of Dermalogica's skincare line!
