Lillee Jean - 4 Outfit Ideas for End of Winter Fashion | Petite

It's almost springtime! In one week we will say "hello" to March, and "cya" to the cold months behind. Around this time, I tend to transition my wardrobe into brighter colors, and styles that show a tad more skin! This period is all about BALANCE. Keeping you warm, but still ready for Spring.

I am someone who is petite, as well as curvaceous down below, however, I gravitate towards styles that flatter my frame with different textures, shapes, and fabrics. It's OKAY to be daring, while still dressing properly. Ready to stylize ahead?

See below for 4 late Winter to early Spring outfit ideas.

#1 - Cardigan Set + Bright Colors

The best way to transition from one season to the next, is to not fight the weather changes, but, to adapt to them. Rather full-on being cold (early March in New York is chill), throw on a cardigan set, trousers, and heels. A bright shade makes this outfit stand out, and the proportions of a cropped cardigan set, assemble your best features to stand out. See here for further outfit details.

#2 - Jeans + LightWeight Turtleneck

Jeans, especially a mid-wash, are excellent for the Winter-Spring transition! Throw on your favorite jeans, a cropped turtleneck to still stay in between February-March, your favorite heels, and voilà! You'll have a perfect, wearable, but classy outfit that makes you feel AMAZING. I chose a mauve tone, with mauve Rachel Zoe platforms, to enable that Spring touch.

#3 - Long-Sleeve Skater Dress, Thigh High Boots

The transition between Winter to Spring, is, much like Autumn. You go through that period of wanting to feel warm, but wanting to shed layers, as well! Throw on your favorite skater dress in an appropriate tone (I chose a burnt orange), and thigh-high boots. You can pair this with leggings underneath, or sheer stockings to add warmth! Chic, cute, classy, and perfect for February, to March.

#4 - Black Skinny Jeans + Grey Wrap Top

This is such a timeless outfit! Black skinny jeans, a knit-wrapped grey top, nude sandals, and a pop of color with a red crossbody bag. This outfit says "hello" to a peep of Spring, via the sandals, and "I'm still here" to Winter, with the heavy jeans, and knit top option above!
