Monochromatic 4th of July Makeup Look

Happy 4th of July, love bunnies! Instead of last years colorful blowout, I decided to toy around with red white and blue, in a unique mannerism. Typically people do blue eyeliner, red lips, white inner corners or even a red white and blue glitter cut crease! I said to myself, “with all the hype on monochromatic colors, it would only make sense to do a makeup look all in one shade with the contrasting colors of blue and white decorated around my body!” Yes, I have these conversations with myself. Don’t ask. Anyhow, using shades of red, I present to you bunnies my patriotic makeup look of 2017. Classy, chic, bold, and oh so fab! It screams America, with a sense of 1920’s vintage esc posture. Read the details down below for product usage, and product linkage! I do not affiliate ANY brands, thus the links are general website links, with no hidden costs. Please know starting from this date forward, my blog posts will be written differently, and a bit more in depth for you cuties! Depending on the look, varies the info ;)!

On my lips is Jeffree Star Cosmetics – Velour Liquid Lipstick, Unicorn Blood, which represents the red portion of the American flag. My entire color scheme was demure and dark, thus my lippies followed the same path. If your color scheme is vivid, try a bright blue-red such as Dose of Colors Merlot!

Eye makeup wise I began with Anastasia’s Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette. Vermeer was used as a brow bone, inner corner, and side of my nose highlight while Warm Taupe was used as a transitional shade for the crease. Venetian Red was taken onto my lids and blended into the crease, as well as on my lower lash lines followed by Red Ochre nestled into the inner v for definition. Using Glitterally Cosmetics Pressed Glitter in Chillipepper, I topped off my lids with a hefty application of the red glitter to my lids. Finishing up the eyes, L’Oreal’s Voluminous Carbon Black Volume Building Mascara was used on my lashes, along with Nyx’s Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean applied to my water lines, as well as on my upper lash lines, which then was blended into my creases using a clean ring finger.

For my skin, I kept it simple and just applied Shea Moisture’s Coconut Oil to hydrate, and dust away any fall-out! Hope you love bunnies enjoy, and ENJOY your 4th of July. America is ONE today!
