Nooooow onto the part where I can really get into depth of my concept, highlight as contour! Do I LITERALLY mean contour? Nooooo silly goose, it’s about manipulating light and bringing warmth to the skin by other means. For example, using a bead sized amount of MUFE’s Ultra HD Concealer in Y23 I took my ring finger and softly stroked it onto any areas needing blemish coverage OR a bit of sprucing up! Keep in mind this is just a coverage strategy, no magic.  The magic begins when Cover Fx’s Cream Foundation in N0, my typical highlighting shade, is brought into play! With my Mac 212 Flat Definer Brush I brushed the product directly on the sides of my nose, on the outskirts of my nose starting from my tear duct, on top of the hollows of my cheeks, and finally on my jawline/forehead/chin/brow bones.  Contour is meant to bring shadows, correct? RATHER bringing light forth in that mannerism, I shifted the bright ivory (N0) up higher than usual this way an illusion of higher pulled up cheekbones would STILL be formed, easy concept huh?! Sadly that is the only change in routine, blending will always remain the same for me, tear :’). Using an Elf Ultimate Blending Brush I gently stippled in the concealer and foundation duo starting from my under eye area to the sides of my nose! I personally prefer blending in side to side motions, in other words rather straight stipples in random places I work clockwise, a few circles here then shift up a few circles there, ya feel?

From this point forward the makeup becomes seamlessly EASIER, the crease was the hardest factor! With a cleaned off Mac 212 Flat Definer Brush I smudged Mermaid eyeshadow across my lower lash line followed by Day Dreamer closer to the tear ducts, do make sure you have adequate pigment going on with these two colors.  A TON of beauties get afraid to use glitter simply because it’s messy AND sometimes doesn’t stick, luckily Violet Voss has very adhesive glitter that works well under all circumstances with little to no fallout! Using a clean pink finger I gently tapped the glitter Goldie into the inner corners of my eye as well as directly in the tear duct. Make sure Goldie is beaming in color, otherwise applying the glitter is useless! Liner can get a tad tricky so be sure to bare with me :). Just as always I gave myself a classic medium thick wing using Stila’s Waterproof Stay All Day Pen Liner in Black! Being unicorns are majestical animals, you can’t stop there.  I proceeded on to a) lining my waterline using Makeup Geek’s Immortal Gel Liner, and b) coating Urban Decay’s Glitter Eyeliner in ACDC across the same black liner from above.  You must work fast because once the heavy metal glitter eyeliner is set and still moist Goldie was gently patted on top, the sticky base helps make this shimmery shade pop!
