The Best Holiday Veggies | The Lillee by Lillee Jean

Holiday vegetables
Louis Hansel Upsplash.

I love my vegetables, especially around holiday time. It's like having your palate bathed with healthy yummies, ready for the next course! Some variations I adore include carrots, bell pepper, and cauliflower sauteed! These vegetables are all great sources of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, making them a healthy and festive addition to any holiday meal. Below you will find my top 3 to enjoy this holiday season.

1. Bell Peppers, Carrots, and Cauliflower

It might seem weird, but this is one of my favorites! Green bell peppers, carrots, and cauliflower are all nutritious, but, sauteed in a pan with rosemary and soy sauce, it's perfect!

2. Green Beans + Sesame

Sesame Green Beans are so wonderful during the holidays! They are easy to make and are perfect for side dishes. The sesame and garlic flavors add the perfect amount of flavor. They are sure to become a holiday favorite!

3. Brussel Sprouts

People tend to not like Brussels sprouts, but when sauteed and made with the perfect hint of spice and mild saltiness...they're perfection! People usually associate Brussels sprouts with a strong, bitter taste, but with the right preparation, they can be a delicious and healthy side dish. Sauteed Brussels sprouts with garlic and a touch of olive oil are a scrumptious way to get your daily veggies.
