Wearable Marigold Sunset Eyes Makeup Look
What if you loved the sunset eye trend…but not so much the aspect of the colors being vibrant and rather unwearable? Since I myself LOVE how beauties around the world are pulling off “sunset” eyes, I decided to do a wearable take on it with warm rushes of gold, marigold, Sienna, and a pinch of cocoa brown. By using metallic hues, one not only gets a shimmery delight on their eyeballs, they also get a sense of vibrancy, since marigold, in example, can be vibrant, but without being a full neon. I truly hope you love bunnies enjoy. Please stay tuned for June 27-July 1…BIG things are happenin’.
Shea Moisture – 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Foundation is a custom blend, I produced
(used to spot conceal, not as an all over base)
Bite Beauty – Amuse Bouche Lipstick, Meringue
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Lipgloss, Warm Bronze
For this look, any range of PEACH to a rusty brown will work on the lippies!
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Dipbrow Pomade, Auburn
Morphe Brushes – 25A Copper Spice Eyeshadow Palette: Shade 8 (blended throughout the crease as a base transitional), Shade 16 (next to the inner thirds; applied with fingers), Shade 18 (applied next to shade 16, DAMP)
Smashbox Cosmetics – Cover Shot: Eye Pallets, Ablaze: Dark Horse (patted onto the outer thirds, then blended in), Torch (center of lids, applied with finger), Moccasin (inner corners, brow bones)
Laura Mercier – Caviar Stick Eye Color, Cocoa (waterlines)
You can add a funky color here, such as teal! I went for a classic brown to give my eyes contrast,
and to make em’ pop. However, if you have chocolate brown eyes give deep plum a CHANCE.
L’Oreal Makeup – Voluminous Carbon Black Volume Building Mascara
Ciate London – Wonderwand Mascara
(L’oreal builds length, Ciate builds extreme volume)
